    Required fields on multiple page forms

    I tried to find something close but it dosen't look like anyone else has posted this question. I have a registration form that is 3 pages long. There is a required field on each page. When the user completes the first page and is prompted to the next page, the requried field on the second page is already showing an error in bright red-before the user has a chance to even answer the question. Can I stop this?

    Looks like the stand alone version of the form is working just fine, please try that out and see.If the stand alone version works fine, then this is most likely a a conflict with other js libraries in your webpage. In that case, I would recommend you to embed the form using its  iFrame version

    Hi. Me again. So, it's not my site. When I preview the form on the Jotform website in a new tab it does the exact same thing. And I only use the iframe method to embed my forms on my site.

    Hello,

    This behavior is being caused by the Social Share Widget -

    Shoudl you remove it - the fields will not be highlighted as "Required" when the second page is loaded.

    I have asked our developers to look at the behavior and advice.

    Hey TitusN! You are on your stuff today.  Thanks for your help and keep me posted if this gets fixed please. I'll just remove it for now, especially since it looks like NO ONE even used it. Sometimes fancy's not worth it...hee, heee.
