Editing Single Choice fields where previously an other option was typed

    Editing Single Choice fields where previously an other option was typed into does NOT work when starting from submission table EDIT; the value is LOST !!

    Kindly share the form URL. When you edit the submission from Tables then the value that was originally entered in the submissions is lost?

    Hi Rehan_F

    Sorry for the late feedback. I changed the form.

    But the problem I had was:

    • single choice field with an addtional "other" option
    • On this field a condition with "when filled" to copy it's value into another field
    • when coming back to a submission via EDIT, then it lost the originally value.

    Hope, that I remembered right. But at the moment I cannot spent more time on this specifically.
    If I need it at a later date, I will inform you. Feel free to try it yourself in the meantime.

    I also recommend updating the form settings and changing the Clear Hidden Field Values to the Don't Clear option if you're using Show/Hide conditions. Here's a screenshot guide on how to change it:
