    Hi,

Sorry but I'm not exactly sure how you're able to post data to your FB profile from the form? Is this what you mean exactly here? We do not have such integration as of yet so I supposed you are using custom code perhaps? However, I know it is possible to post Jotform to FB group as post with Zapier.

Kindly provide more details so we can assist you further. Thanks!

I was trying to send email as per this old thread.

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/90807-Can-certain-data-collected-in-forms-be-automatically-posted-to-Facebook-and-Twitter

If I send a regular email to the one provided to me by FB, the heading i place in the subject matter does appear as a FB post. But when I try to apply to my form it does not seem to work. Please advise.

    Thanks.

    Lance.

    Hi Lance,

It probably is not working anymore.. I also tried it on my end, and I can't seems to make it work also.

    My test form http://form.jotform.me/form/40788173642461?

Perhaps recent updates on the side of FB is preventing this from working anymore.

In my test form, I clearly indicated the FB e-mail account of my FB test page.

But so far, after testing the form, the message did not reflect on the FB page status.

I will investigate further to see if there are possibility of it still working.

I will update here when I can.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Jonathan,

Must be something holding it up because if i send an email to my FB email account from my regular yahoo email the subject line does create an update on my FB page. Thought knowing this might help you as I would really love to be able to do this again.

    Thanks.

    Lance.

I tried by resetting the email address FB generated for my account

I sent a submission, but it only creates this post:

It doesn't work upon making a second submisssion, so it looks like FB is preventing to upload pictures or text from form submissions

At any rate, I've created a ticket for our developers to see if something can be done in our side.

It seems to me that Facebook has blocked noreply@jotform.com, probably due to some abusive users spamming this technique.

In any case, try changing up the sender email address used on your notifications. You may also want to use your own SMTP email account for sending the notifications to Facebook for a higher chance of it getting posted. Still, it is up to Facebook whether to accept the emails from us or not.

Alas, there is nothing we can do our end to circumvent this problem.

    We are sorry about that.
