Can I add an icalendar event file to the notification e-mail?

I have an icalendar event that I would like to send automatically when people sign up.

I tried attaching it, but it is not a supported file format.

From your description, I assume the event is stored in an .ics file?

Unfortunately, as you said, the file type is not supported as an Autoresponder Email attachment.

The only way to include the file in the email is to upload it to a hosting provider and add the link to the file in your email.
