    Need to have a uniform width for all my input boxes

    Asked by debmorris on March 26, 2014 at 10:33 AM

    Hi - how do I make all box widths the same?

    How do I increase the size of a box, so that customers can't type a paragraph rather than just a few words?

    Many thanks.

    size thanks same all

    You can try to inject the following css code to make all widths the same:

    input

    {width:320px;}

    You can change the dropdown width directly:

    Thanks - have tried this but it makes some of the boxes too big (i.e. first and last names, tel number) and it doesn't change the width of drop down menus.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello,

    Please replace the injected CSS using the following CSS codes:

    input {
    width: 90%;
    }
    #cid_1 > span:nth-child(1) {
    width: 65px;
    }
    #last_1 {
    width: 60%;
    }
    #input_3,#input_18 {
    width: 68%;
    }

    Let us know if this helps

    Hi,

    Are you still referring to this form https://www.jotform.com/40465755963364

    From what I can see, all the textboxes are already at the same width

    If this is not satisfactory or does not work on your browser, you can also try changing the injected CSS code to this

    .form-textbox, .form-textarea, .form-radio-other-input, .form-checkbox-other-input, .form-captcha input {

    width: 150px !important;

    }#last_1{

    margin-left: 10px;

    }

    I tested this on a test form and it look like this http://form.jotform.me/form/40847578709470?

    Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
