date format in my two forms

Asked by wanganuipetmotel on March 26, 2014 at 05:21 PM

    Hi

I have two forms that are on my website for customers to make bookings but I keep getting people saying they are having trouble with entering the dates for future months.

Is it possible to change my forms date format, so they can just enter any date/time??

I did check myself and found to change the "month" can be tricky as the small arrows to do this are not up by the month but down by the today.

I have a number of "older" clients who are not so computer literate and they are having problems with this format.

my webpage is  www.wanganuipetmotel.co.nz and you get to the forms by clicking on the bookings page then "booking form"

    Hi,

Perhaps you can try disabling the mini pop-calendar when "manually typing" input dates. Refer to the image below how to do this

and it should be like this afterwards

The user can manually type the dates.. the calendar is sophisticated enought that it will be able to determine invalid date inputs.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks!
