We are hoping to use Jot Form again  to run our annual 'Study Abroad Photo Contest.' Students upload a maximum of 8 photos when filling out their form. We're concerned about storage space and are wondering if we should specify a minimum resolution or file size for the photos that students submit.Typically we have around 40 students submitting photos, will we run into a storage issue?

Are there templates for photo contest submission forms?

Finally, we have used Jot Form in the past, but due to employee turnover, we no longer have our account information to access an old form that we created. Is there any way to see if there are multiple accounts created under the email address? Is there any way we can access forms made in the past?

    Thanks for all your help!

    Hi Lani,

You can limit the size of a file upload by clicking the Max File Size button then assigning a value to it.

At 300KB max file size and 8 files per student of 40:

    8 x 300 x 40 / 1024 = 93.75MB

that's around ~94MB which is barely reaching the 100MB limit for free users.

If your students upload files bigger than 300KB, then you're going to have problems with your storage space. In that case, I suggest that you upgrade to a Premium account.

We do not have a template for photo submission forms yet.

Please open a separate thread for your last issue since it seems too unrelated to your first two questions. This is to prevent confusion amongst users and Jotform Support team members.

Thank you for understanding! We'll be looking forward to your responses.

We are trying to do something similar, but we're concerned with people uploading low resolution images (often from facebook). Is JotForm likely to implement a minimum resolution check? Is there a better way to require a minimum resolution?

I'm afraid we dont have this feature that ensures your uploaded photo is of some minimal resolution. We can only assist limit the upload file size as per my colleague's guide above . This is a good feature and we may inform our developers to work on in future.

Thanks for contacting us and lets know if you need further assistance.

We are having issues with this as well. We put up a test and tried to test it (without paying to enter)

Although when we check our SUBMISSIONS>INCOMPLETE PAYMENTS, we don't see images.

Will these show up after someone pays?

    Hello Kathy,

You can manually complete the submission that landed in the incomplete payments list and you will be able to see all the details that was submitted, including the uploaded files.
