    Hi!I tried to prepopulate Full Name together with the email on my own, but the prepopulation in Full Name is not right. The First Name and Last Name are both inserted in the First Name text box and empty on the Last Name.The email portion has no prepopulation implementation at all.I also need to prepopulate other fields as well since I am creating different forms linked to one another. Therefore, I would need assistance on the proper way of prepopulating fields other than email and Full Name.Thanks!

    Hello Vernna,

    You may like to check our "Field Prepopulator" app which should help you generate the URL of your form with data pre-populated.

    Once you generate the URL with data pre-filled, you can then replace the values with the field names of the form from where you will redirect your user to this form.

    Do check and get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    I still am having problems in the Full Name area. In the First Name and Last Name fields, they both show the full name of the person. The first name and last name do not separate.

    Thanks!

    Also, I used conditional logic in one of the forms, so when for example either gender is chosen, a different page for each gender will be revealed. However, only one of the fields were prepopulated instead of a few more.

    For Full Name, I tried this “fullName23[first]={fullName23}[first]&fullName23[last]={fullName23}[last]”. I added [first] and [last] to the equivalent value, but it is still the name. Both fields are filled with the full name plus [first] and [last].

    Thank you for the help in advance.

    I tried another way by placing first and last inside the curly brackets but something is oddly wrong with the link provided via email, instead of: http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]={fullName[first]}&fullName[last]={fullName[last]}&email7={email7}, the link sent via email has become: http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]= &fullName[last]=&email7=
    I have already tried unlinking and linking a couple of times but the same result is given.

    Please try prepopulating the Full Name fields like so:

    yourName[first]={yourName:first}&yourName[last]={yourName:last}

    Which should end up like this:

    http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]={fullName:first}&fullName[last]={fullName:last}&email7={email7}

    Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

    Thank you for the reply.

    I have setup the prepopulation as suggested in Email Alert like this:
    http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]={fullName:first}&fullName[last]={fullName:last}&email7={email7}

    But when I received the email, the link is now like this: http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]=&fullName[last]=&email7=

    This is the same issue as before.

    Hello ics.vernna,

    I did check your form and the field name of your name question is {fullName8} and that is the reason why you are not getting the values in the pre-population URL.

    The correct pre-population URL specific to your form should be:

    http://form.jotform.me/form/40848431871459?fullName[first]={fullName8:first}&fullName[last]={fullName8:last}&email7={email9}

    Please use the above code in your form's auto-responder and that should solve your problem.

    The field names are specific to every form. The following guide should help you on how to find the field names:  http://www.jotform.com/help/146-How-to-find-Field-IDs-Names

    Hope this helps.

    Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    I have successfully gotten the email to prepopulate, but I have not been able to get the full name to show up at all. What am I missing?

    I have tried several different methods and links that I have seen. This is the one I currently have;

    http://form.jotform.us/form/52784433927162?session={email}&fullName={fullName}&email={email}
