    CSS - Jotform Hebrew form - Checkbox, RTL and more

    Asked by idanfactor on July 25, 2011 at 07:28 AM

    Hi guys,

    I have created a hebrew form with Jotform.

    I want to style the checkbox and align it to right.
    How can I set the checbox to RTL and align the boxes to right.It suppose to look like that (From right to left): Checkbox then hebrew text.
    In other words, all the checkbox need to be aligned in one column.
    Currently my hebrew jotform form looks pretty lame (hebrew text and only then checkbox):

    Hi idanfactor

    Specifically, to which of your forms are you referring? What you want can probably be achieved with the use of absolute positioning of the check boxes. Just provide the URL of one of the forms in which you wish the check boxes to be aligned in a column on the right and we'll see what we can do.

    Thanks.

    Hi Wayne,
    As you know, Hebrew text is right to left and aligned to right.
    From that reason, it's not displaying well in Jotform checkbox.
    I only want to show the checkbox from right to left.
    It means: Text aligned to right and Checkbox aligned to right.

    An example:

    First, please provide me the CSS of the checkbox?
    In addition, I would be glad if you will provide a solution to display it RTL (maybe the "position" is the answer).

    Hi idanfactor,

    First of all, thank you for using JotForm.

    You can use the following CSS code to obtain what you are referring to as RTL.

     .form-checkbox{ margin-top:1px; margin-left:5px; margin-right:5px; float:right; }

    I've also attached an illustration of the output of the codes below. Hope this helps.

    Hi brx,

    It's not working.

    It's really show first the checkbox as I want to.
    However, the hebrew text is aligned to left (instead of right), though I add to the css: "align:right;" and direction:rtl; to your suggested CSS code.

    You can see it in the test form:

    http://form.jotform.com/form/12064315055

    Any other options?

    This is how the checkbox should look like:

    Everything (text and checkbox) is aligned to right and checkbox in the same position (Row).
    I Used ms paint to do that.

    Hi again idanfactor

    Please add the following CSS rule to what you have already injected:

    #cid_4 {
    position:relative;
    }
    #input_4_0,
    #input_4_1,
    #input_4_2,
    #input_4_3 {
    position:absolute;
    left:420px;
    }

    Your form should now look like this clone I made of it.

    Hi idanfactor,

    I've attached the code below.

    .form-checkbox{ margin-top:1px; margin-left:5px; margin-right:5px; float:right; } .form-checkbox-item{ float:right; }

    This should solve your issues now.

    Brilliant! Works like a charm, Albert.

    I've been wracking my brain over this. The beauty about your solution is that it works for ALL check box fields in the form while mine would have only worked for a specific field, since it used IDs instead of classes.

    Very cool :)

    ~ Wayne

    P.S. Contrary to what I believed, no absolute positioning was required. LOL

    Hi,

    I created a similar form (http://form.jotform.me/form/51526316993461) but I must have broken something along the way. We are supposed to launch a campaign tomorrow and I would greatly appreciate if someone could take a look in the meantime. The radio buttons are to the left of the text (as opposed to to the right where they should be) and more importantly, they are not clickable.

    Thank you!
