    PDF Form

Asked by GDMP on July 25, 2011 at 10:50 AM

Can you create a pdf of the form for people to fill out? Some companies don't feel safe filling out our forms and I want to give them option of taking it online or filling out a pdf and sending it to us. If this possible? Also, is it possible for a person to start filling out the form and come back later to finish it?

    Hi GDMP,

You can generate PDF file of the forms created in JotForm.

    To do this:
    1. Login to JotForm
    2. Go to My Forms
    3. Right click on a Form and select 'Create PDF form'

You can also make use of the Print button to allow users to Print the form and then
fax it after filling it out. To enable it just Click on the "Submit" button field on the
form and then click on "Print Button" icon on the toolbar.

For your second concern the closest solution I can come up with to achieve this
behaviour is by using the {edit_link} in the autoresponder email. A user submits
the form he then receives an autoresponder email with a link to the form.
When user clicks on the link he sees the partially completed form and
    proceeds filling it out.

    Here's how its done:

    1. Open your form in JotForm.
    2. Click on 'Setup & Embed' then select eMail Alerts.
    3. Choose 'Add New Email' and then 'Autoresponder Email' from the list

    4. Click on Next you will then see the autoresponder email content, click on
"Edit Link" from the Form Fields to include it in the email.

Once you are done with editing the email just click on Finish to complete.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Mliz

    Hi tpclickz,

When FTP is enabled each submission from your users will be saved
as a PDF file in your FTP account.

Please click here for a sample Jotform form submission in PDF format.

Let us know if you have clarifications.

Hi, Does this option still work? To have it sent to an FTP as a PDF?
