Getting form submissions but site is downAsked by ourlady on April 01, 2014 at 11:31 AM
Hi there, just curious about something. I got 2 submissions in the past 2 days from a form I have on the home page of our website. But, I just found out our domain expired 2 weeks ago, so our site isn't even up. We are in the process of renewing our domain, but I wondered how people can still be submitting information since the site is down, and you can't access our website?
With the case at hand, I can't also provide any explanation on how those people made submissions while the website is down. However, this get referrer widget might help. Using this widget can help you track the referring URLs of your forms the next time someone makes a submission.
You can also search for this widget by editing your form > search with the key word "get referrer" and add the widget in your form.
