Is there a way to only show the text feilds that have been conditioned to show as the user fills out the form?Asked by DammMusic on April 01, 2014 at 02:59 PM
Is there a way to only show the text feilds that have been conditioned to show as the user fills out the form?
For example, my form is a contract that has different prices depending on which selections are made. When the customer is done filling out the form, I want to be able to e-mail them a pdf of there contract, showing just the pricing related to their purchase.
Here's my form:
That's possible with email condition.
And then create multiple notifiers (Setup & Embed > Email Alerts > Add New Email) with custom layout and fields according to your preference that matches with your conditions.
Example email condition:
If there's anything I've missed here or if I have misunderstood your question, let us know.
Let me clarify. I'm referring to printing a pdf of the completed contract.
My problem is that I need a complete contract to send to my custom that includes the text fields. But when I create that pdf from the submissions and include the option "show headers and texts" it shows ALL the texts, including those not pertaining to the options the customer chose.
Is there a way to show the coresponding options to the choices made as per the conditions in a printable pdf?
For now text fields aren't shown in the email notifications or auto-responders, because no action was done with them while filling in the form.
There is a workaround, that includes using a radiobutton instead of the Text field and then adding some css code to hide the radiobutton. You can follow this guide:
Then you just need to add a pdf-link to your auto-reponder email:
