    Exported Excel Submissions - missing data due to unknown content

    The function of exporting submissions to XLS or CSV fails again, and I need it now, please    :-((

    XLS can't be opened and CSV looses data, giving the headings but with the data empties (only for some questions).

    (Note: I have verified that all the questions are marked before proceeding).

    Please, some of the data appear as blank in the CSV table (in PDF ok).

    Thank you very much but unfortunatelly your CSV results are as mine: empty in some parts.

    Please have a look to the PDF generated: For example the first 3 respondants (identified by MUNICIPIO, that is Abades, Adrados and Aguilafuente) clicked the mark for the question

    "3.- ¿De quién depende? >> 3.2.- Servicio de ayuda a domicilio >> Junta o Diputación",

    but the total amount of clicks in the CSV are zero (for ALL the survey).

     

    I am so sad and so nervous, because the deadline for my presentation is almost over, really :-(

    I honestly said to you "no urgent" when it was (in another post), or I said, "ok, if export to XLS fails but CSV works I go ahead, so forget", but now it is very uegent. Very much  :-((    Sorry and thanks

    Done, but unfortunatelly it continues wrong: XLS is corrupt (no matter since exporting to CSV works) but CSV is empty for some answers.

    Please observ that in the PDF for the 1st respondant "001-Abades", in questions "3.2.- Servicio de ayuda a domicilio" tha answer is "Junta o Diputación" and for the question "3.6.- Ayuda a los inmigrantes" it is also tha same answer "Junta o Diputación". However in XLS the columns U (3.2 results) and AO (3.6 results) are empty for ALL the respondants !!

    Could it be that the heading "Junta o Diputación" has a strange letter, not standarized? (ó = o with an accent in the Spanish letters)

    I am getting fool and desperated. Thanks

    Hi,

    Our developer was able to received your latest message. He will provide response here also as soon as available.

    I was able to see the mentioned problem in the submission with the column header "Junta o Diputación" -- BUT can you also try editing that column header?

    You can change the column heade to a simpler one like "Junta" only... the data will not be lost as you are only changing the header name.

    Try changing the text and check the submission data again in Excel. Check if the issue persist even after doing this procedure already.

    Update us of the results.

    There is a issue regarding matrix fields with unicode characters. I am working on it now, however, please consider filling them manually if you are in danger of passing the due date. Meanwhile, I will let you know when it is ready.

    Hello and thanks again for concerning about my worries.

    I have created a small new test form to check it with rare characters and normal characters. And well, regarding rare characters (á é í ó ú ñ) it does not fail in a matrix of radio buttons, but it fails with a matrix of checkboxes, as it is my case.

    Also I have changed the name of that dammed column (Diputación to Diputacion), but it seems that as the data were entered already with accent, those data still don't appear. Could I access to the full table online and substitute together all "Diputación" for "Diputacion" instead?
