Dynamic matrix problem, data entered in Firefox will not transfer to submissions

Asked by Jennifer on April 02, 2014 at 04:08 PM

Good afternoon, I am using three Dynamic Matrix widgets in my form (at the very end of the form) and when data is entered into the fields in does not transfer to the submission database or to the pdf documents. Is there a way that I can fix this issue? This is the link to my form: https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/40555304794962. Thank you!

    Thank you for contacting us.

There is a chance that the form users are not 'saving' entered data, so that it is missing on Submissions page. Please note that the data is not being saved if it is not 'Added'. In other words, users will need to use the 'Add Row' button to save their data.

    Please see the following screenshot:

Please let us know if you need any further assistance on this.

Hi again, Unfortunately it looks like my original problem with the dynamic matrix has not been resolved. Those using the form are saving their answers as was indicated but the answers are not transferring to the submissions database. Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks!

I have made a test submission on your form, and it went through without any issues.

Is there are any specific steps to reproduce the issue with missing data from dynamic matrix widget?

Thanks for testing it. I just did a test submission myself and I entered information into all of the 3 dynamic matrixs and when the form was submitted it only recorded the information entered in the third matrix, omitting the data entered in the first and second ones. It may be something with my browser if the form seems to be working on your end.
