    recipient settings not working

    I have several forms that I have built recently, but the notification settings are not working properly.  When I change the email address to a new one besides the one on my account, it doesn't send it to them.  How can I fix this?

    Hi Andy,

    Please make sure that the form's notification settings are properly configured according to the guide

    -Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

    Set also the Sender E-mail to "noreply@jotform.com" 

    If you continue to have issue, please tell us the form and the e-mail account that is having issue and we will check further.

    A few of my forms that aren't working are:

     

    Event Registration Form - IE     send to ndeary@businesswomensforum.com

    List With Us       send to brendon@sterlingteetor.com

    Hi,

    I checked your form settings and found that they are correctly setup.

    So, please make sure to check your spam folder, probably the emails were flagged as spam and they are there. 

    Also, kindly contact your email service provider and ask them to whitelist our damain names: 

    We use Amazon SES method for "noreply@jotform.com" sender.

    ·        amazonses.com

    ·        jotform.co

    ·        secure.jotform.co

    ·        s3.amazonaws.com

    I made the modification to my email program thru godaddy but i'm still unable to send any email to anyone other than the default account holder.  I updated it over 3 hours again and still nothing. Any other ideas?

    I get no emails in my spam or bulk folder either.

    @TammiFunk

    How do you test the form?

    Note that you have to make an actual submissions with your form to test the form recipient email. Just fill your form and submit. Clicking the "Test Email" button found on the notification wizard will only send a test notification to your account email address as per indicated on the information dialogue.

    I tested the form from my actual website.  I can send an email to ndeary@businesswomensforum.com and it goes thru fine, but when I use the notification settings as mention above, the email never goes thru.  The gentleman above confirmed that all my settings are correct, but I'm still not getting anything to work.

    Hi Andy,

    I just removed the email ndeary@businesswomensforum.com in the bounce list so it should be fine by now.

    Here's the following reason why this email ended in the bounce list.

    Result: 

    ndeary@businesswomensforum.com is IN the bounce list  

    Reason(s) : 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'5.1.1  recipient rejected'

    It seems this email address provider is rejecting emails coming from Jotform. In order to prevent this from occuring again, please whitelist JotMail IPs and domains to this email provider side. http://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-Addresses

    Please review this email address as well if it's valid/active and check if there's no typo in it.

    I contacted Godaddy to add the jotmail IPs and such to my hosting account, I receieved the following email back and I'm hoping you could help me with this:

    Dear Andy,

    Thank you for contacting Online Support. I understand you are experiencing emails bouncing from your Jot Form. In order to troubleshoot this issue, we need the original bounceback message that is being received along with its headers. Without this information, it is extremely difficult to determine the cause of non-delivery, if not impossible. Please send a copy of the bounced message that is generated and its headers to us as an .EML file attachment in reply to this message so we can better determine the cause of non-delivery.

    Please do not include the headers or email as text in your response, we will need the .EML file attachment in order to properly review this issue.

    Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
