Clicking collapse bar makes page scroll up - On Adobe Muse

    Hello,

I'm trying to create a form with collapsed fields. One field only at the beginning plus 3 fields which will apper after collapse bar is clicked.

It works fine within preview, but when I see it on browser after clicking le collapse bar which will show the hidden fields & buttons, the whole thing (the form container and its components) will scroll up to top of page, which is not nice for the user who will have to scroll down the page to continue filling the fields.

Is there any script enabling to fix the position of the form in the page?

I use Adobe Muse with embed form. I've tried also iFrame which makes more unpredictable problems and Source Code which does not work at all (clicking the collapse bar does nothing).

Any idea to solve this problem?

Thnaks a lot for your help

    Enrico

P.S: I also notice that, when I test the form INSIDE of creator page of Jot Form, and I click the collapse bar, the page of Jot Form (behind the test window of the form) scrolls too up to the top of browser window. This seems a little bug and should have nothing to do with Adobe Muse.

Can you please tell if you have tried to follow our guide

    http://www.jotform.com/help/99-Adding-Form-to-Adobe-Muse

In there we recommend to use the script version rather than iFrame.

At any rate, it would good if you share your website URL so we can check and advise further

    @ Ellezer

Yes this is the form. However in the link you provided the form is already at the top of the page therefore you cannot see what happens when the form is placed say a bit down the page or in the middle or in any place but the top.

I don't know if you can access my account and just try to watch what happens when you PREVIEW the form. You will see that the page of JotForm (in the background,  behind the preview window) when you click the collapse bar, will scroll up. This is whar also happens in my site.

I will publish a test page for you to in a prototype site so that you can see what I men.

Thank you for your kind interest.

    @Jannette

Thank you for your reply. As far as I may say, the only code working for me is the "embedded code". No way with "source" and strange results with "iFrame"

If you too can access my account, please feel yourself at home to try these alternatives.

    Thaks both for your help

    Enrico

    @ Ellezer and @ Jannette

here is the prototype site where the Jot form is plced.

Please note that the Jot Form is available only in the HOME page.

I noticed another thing: when you click the first time the collapse bar the page jumps at the top as previously described. However it's peculiar that if you scroll down the page, re-hit the collapse to hide the 3 fields and re-hit again, it will not scroll anymore.

Obviously not a solution but maybe a trace for you to understand what happens.

    Thnaks again

    Enrico

    Hi Enrico,

Somehow it seems that you forgot to include the URL of the website. So, we are not able to view or test the actual form in used.

Can you please provide us again the URL of the website.

I tried tracing it through your previous post on this forum. I found this website http://www.dubaiseomaster.com/  but I think your test page is not located here since I coudl not find a JotForm form in the home page.

    Please update us.

    Thanks!

Clicking collapse bar makes page scroll up On Adobe Muse Image 1 Screenshot 20

And I also noticed how the page jump up on the first time you click on the collapse field of the form

Here is a screencast of it http://screencast.com/t/UCWiN00A3

I have seen a similar case before, the solution used was appending the ?nojump parameter at the URL of the form..  like this

     http://www.jotformeu.com/form/40933881524357?nojump

You can also check this thread with similar discussion.

Hope this help. Inform us if issue remains.

    Thanks!
