If one uses the Text Tool - to add some text - there is a problem with spacing where one changes the colour.
I think it is to do with the html span tag and the way the html eitor function renders it.
So, check this form ... http://form.jotformpro.com/form/33454034982961
You will note on this form that there is no space between words where the colour is changed.
Checked in all browsers ... same.
I don't think you will be able to clone the form as I have disabled cloning ... but please just try to duplicate the issue ... by changing text colour in mid-sentence.

I'm sorry but i'm unable to reproduce the issue, I tried to follow your instructions but everytime I change the colour it seems to follow the colour that I chose.
I'm not sure how you are able to reproduce the issue. Need some help here on how to produce the problem. By the way I was doing it in "Edit HTML" button then typed in the text I copied exactly the word you have on your form including spaces then tried to change the color.

Try creating a form .... add the text tool ... don't use the html editor ... just write the text in.
Then change the colour of the text in the middle of the sentence.
Look at the form in your browser ... the spce isn't honoured ... happens evgery time

Yes it seems you are right. I was able to replicate the said issue. It seems if your change the font color using the "HTML" editor, the space gets trimmed. Please check the screenshot below and see if this is what you meant:
I am reporting this to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update on this.

That is correct ... there is a bug with regard to spacing when one changes colour of a font ... the space is not honoured in the browser.
Needs fixing ... the text tool does not work the way it should

I work with the text tool a lot. This is quite annoying as I have to change text colour a lot.
This post is just to ask if a quick fix was done or wtherther still pending. i ask as a lot of times I have not been updated on threads regarding fixes.
I love the brilliant animated screenshot movie as per above. What application did you use for this please? I use Snagit for scren grabs ... but this is great.

The ticket has been assigned to a developer and its status set to Important but there's been no fix as yet.
As to the application used to create the screenshot, it's called LICEcap.

I've made updates that should resolve this issue. Please do save your form again for the updates to reflect. Please let us know if the problem persists.

Thanks Liyam ... will do. I'll come back to you on this thread if there any problems.
- markashtonAnswered on May 21, 2014 at 04:14 PM
This isn't resolved at all
This form ... http://form.jotformpro.com/form/33454034982961
Note the double the space where the bold text is ... doesn't make any difference what I do to it. There is a just a single space in the builder and this is also represented in the html view.
So, No ... I see no difference ... and see the same across all my forms.
