Is there anyway to get a submitted image to actually display in the Google spreadsheet instead of having only a link?

    The Google Drive and especially Google spreadsheets integration is very useful. However is there anyway to get a submitted image to actually display in the Google spreadsheet instead of having only a link? (Perhaps in a thumbnail format?)

    I don't think that Google spreadsheet has this feature I tried it and it doesn't seem to show any thumbnails. In the meantime you can use Grid listing and HTML table report showing a thumbnail images.

    Please see this sample:

    You can follow this guide on how to add Grid or HTML table reports to your form/s. Let us know if have any questions.

    Thanks for the information. On further Googling I think it is possible.

    Found this:

    See Serge insas's script down the page a little.

    The working spreadsheet is here: (Scroll down to around row 206)

    Unfortunately, my scripting abilities are sub-par. Maybe you folks could get it working for Jotform in the future.

    That would require downloading your form source and would need someone knowledgeable in javascript to attach the script in your form source code.

    I don't see any existing form in your account, what you can do is create your form then let us know the form ID and we'll try our very best to make it work, probably we can do it during our free time. Hiring someone with Javascript expertise would speed up the resolution to this.

    Thank you for your yet another very useful contribution, Randy. :)

    Our developer who works on our Google Spreadsheet integration mentioned that inserting a new column, as long as certain conditions are met, should not affect or break the integration. These conditions are that:

    - you should not modify any of the existing columns that were created by the integration;

    - the header (first cell) of the newly inserted/created column should be different from any of the integrated column headers in the spreadsheet, and should also be different from the main label of any form field you have on your form.

    The above two kinds of edits would likely break the Google Spreadsheet integration, while simply inserting a new column does not, of itself, break the integration.

    Probably the most important thing to be aware of is that Jotform has a bandwidth/download limit set on any files that are uploaded on our forms, which means that any uploaded image can only be downloaded a certain amount of times. The limit is downloading 100 times for files that are under 10 MB in size, and 10 times for files larger than 10 MB.

    This means that if you were to display uploaded images directly in the spreadsheet, each time you would open the spreadsheet, you would also load those embedded images as well. You could quickly run out of available downloads by opening the spreadsheet, and the files could become unavailable. For that reason, it is not recommended to display images from our servers in such a way, as images can only be downloaded a limited amount of times.

    This limit is not listed in your account, so this is why you do not see any limit increased, the limits are listed on my colleague's reply above, but you will know this only when you get the message about bandwidth limit exceeded when trying to load a file.

    Regarding to how this limit increases, this will do each time that you load a file uploaded to our severs, does not matter how do you load the file, if it is being loaded using the URL which points to our server then this limit will increase.

    That the only thing thing that you will receive, the warning message notifying that you have exceeded the bandwidth limit, the file will not be longer available, we can reset the bandwidth limit, but this can be done only once in a lifetime, this is why we do suggest to integrate your forms with either Google Drive or Dropbox, to avoid this happening.

    Yes, you're right this needs to be added to our current guides, all those guides about reports should include this information and let users know about this, thank you for this.

    We will keep this in mind and will try to update the guides as soon as possible.

    Olá, meu formulário é integrado com uma planilha do google, porém, todos os dados são enviados normalmente, com exceção da foto. Ela não aparece na planilha do google. Nem sequer um link para abri-la;
