Can you check my form called Bond Order Form as I cannot get it to display.

As I was building the form it would display fine but for some reason the final version will not.

To see this in a preview go to Embed Form -> Embed Form (< >) -> Click the preview button.

    I am using Firefox 5

    Note

Prior to the problem happening I had gone to the form settings and changed the background to transparent. I then reverted to the original background.

    Regards

    Gary

    Hi Gary,

    Thank you for using JotForm.

Try embedding your form using iFrame, and let us know the updates. Forms are more stable with iFrame in most cases because, whatever you do with your site's code, it'll not mess up your form's code. Hope this helps.

If you have further issues and concerns, please feel free to contact us.

    Hi Albert

The iframe does not show at all. I have noticed something here though. Remember that I said the problem started after I changed the background to transparent and then reverted back to the original background.

Well if you look at the iframe code here it shows allowtransparency="true". It seems to follow that your software is still carrying the deleted transparancy instruction.

    <*iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotform.com/form/12131729355" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:1177px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
</iframe*> (I entered * to stop it displaying form)

    Regards

    Gary

    Hi there,

First of all, apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you. Try changing  src="//form.jotform.com/form/12131729355"  to  src="//www.jotform.com/form/12131729355" and see if it helps. Please inform us with any updates.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hi

No that did not work. It only seems to work when I use the embed code. Iframe will not show anything. I do not think you addressed the transparency issue in my last reply and I think this is where the issue lies.

I have created a page with some screen shots that clearly show the problem if you would be kind enough to have a look:

    Hi Gary,

My apologies for that, but setting the transparency of a form should not be an issue. I've recommended iFrame because, above other embedding methods, it is more stable in most situations. Also, to give emphasis on using form.jotform.com and www.jotform.com, these are two different entities. Forms called from the url form.jotform.com are supposed to be faster because they are served from different locations around the world via a Content Delivery Network as opposed to www which is hosted in a single location. However, there have been occurences when forms served using this url experience delays in updating.

Advising our users to use www instead of form is more of a band-aid solution until we finish our investigation regarding the delays, that is why we have not updated the Embed Form Wizard to give out www form url's.

I've seen your form and I can't see anything wrong. Are you referring to the background image of the theme Solid Form?

    Thank you for your patience.

I am sorry but this reply has not addressed my query.

I enclosed a link within my previous reply that shows screenshots showing the problem occuring within my Jotform account.

Can you look at the link and give me your thoughts:

    FURTHER INFORMATION

I have set up a second form and it embeds just fine. This points to a definate corruption issue on your site.

    Hi,

What exactly is the output you wanted to have? The line you are referring previously indicates your form's width. Try changing "Form Width" value under "Form Style" tab. You will notice movement of the dotted line prior to the value you will enter.

I've also attached here a screenshot of the preview of your form, and still, I haven't seen any inconsistencies either.

Again, we do apologize for any inconsistencies. Nevertheless, we're glad you've came up with another form that suits what you like.

If you have further issues and concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our team will be more than happy to help you.

    Thank you.

    Albert

Please look again as I do not feel that this problem is being addressed properly.

I was about to become a paying customer but am now in 2 minds.

Please do 2 things for me:

1 - Please go to the preview Embed Form -> Embed Form (< >) -> Click the preview button. This is the preview available next to the embed code. This shows just a horizontal line not the form.

2 - Please follow the link I provided earlier

    http://www.nebonds.co.uk/#/jotform-problem/4553983208

Look at the 2nd screenshot down and notice the horizontal silver line that is showing at the top of the form. This line is the only thing that is showing when the form displays. The line should not even be there.

    Thanks

    @divecsol

To answer in behalf of Albert, that horizontal silver line is the background of the theme you have built your form upon. This is just a minor glitch, since it is not visible when the form is previewed, either using the Preview button or clicking the preview link in the Embed Form Wizard

This is most likely a browser compatibility issue, which is the bane of each and every web developer. Nevertheless, I will submit a ticket to notify our developers. We'll see if they can do something about it. Thanks!
