Unique Field

Hello friends.

This time i have a question about a need i have in my job, I hope is possible to do it. Here is: I need that each form generates a number; it cannot be repeated according with certain tab.

For example, if the person types l1113775 in a tab named 'ID', he'll have a number, but he cannot have another number with the same answer in the ID tab. I hope i¿m making myself clear.

I wait for your answer. If you have something similiar, let me know too.

If this unique ID is typed in by the user you can use a text-box field, validating as number (if it is the case):

And then go to preferences (1) > Form Limits > Unique question (2):

This way the entries in that field must be unique.

I'm not very sure about this but every submission as already a submission ID that is unique:

But in adition you can add a Unique ID field, under the widgets tab:

This is a hidden field.

But if users need to have access to this Unique ID field, you can insert it in the thank you page or in your auto-responder email:
