If anyone tries to upload a file using a browser other than IE, the form will not submitAsked by Sean on May 12, 2014 at 12:56 PM
if anyone tries to upload a file using anything other then Internet Explorer, the submission button doesn't work. Please let us know ASAP why this is happening and how to fix it.
The form upload field should be compatible with all the major browsers. Are you still getting any issues related to the form uploads?
The only one issue that I have noticed is the height issue in Google Chrome. It seems that the form placeholder is not long enough. Can you try to increase it using your web design software?
I have had a lot of clients say that the Submit button goes grey when they attach files to the form. If they use Internet Explorer, it works. I have really no idea what you mean by the above information.
When you open your web page in chrome browser, the submit button itself is not visible because the height of the iFrame code you have embedded is not sufficient to display the submit button. That could be the reason why your users are not able to submit the form. Please check the screenshot of chrome browser:
To solve this problem, you will have to edit your website "site.css" file and change the height of the .wsb-htmlsnippet-element css code.
Hope this helps.
Do get back to us if you have any questions.
I increased it to 1500 px but it didnt work. What can I do now?
Will this fix the Submit button that is visible but then goes grey if they try to upload a file through Firefox?
I got it to work on Chrome but I am still worried it won't work on Firefox.
We have had another complaint that is doesn't work.
Please note that the form Submit button is not active during upload, so the form user should attach the file(s) wait for upload and then submit the form.
I was able to submit your form using Firefox 29.0.1:
