Feature Request - Integration with Quote Roller

Hi. I use Quote Roller and they put me onto you guys. When I send a quote to my customers, I need them to give me a bit of information about themselves, but I want to embed this information into their quote, I don't want it emailed to me. So, for example, I send them a quote for us to delivery some party equipment to their house. They like the quote and accept it. However, I don't have a delivery address. So I want to use a jotform to get them to put these details back into the quote and save the form within the quotation. This way I have all of the information I need right there in the one quote. (It would also be nice if an email was triggered to me to let me know they have done this, but that's not entirely necessary, just nice!)

    Thanks.

That's actually a very interesting tool which might possibly become useful to others later on and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.

I created a test account and tried this, but it didn't seem to work. The only way I can currently see this working is if we can build an app or integration of some sort. I've gone ahead and forwarded this to our developers as a feature request on your behalf to see if perhaps this is something we could handle.

On a side note though, I did check Zapier and saw they have Quote Roller there too which you may want to give a try for the time being since we have an app there as well.

I will also bookmark this and play around with it more and get back to you if I figure out something.

Okay, I figured it out. I realized they are actually using a secured site. This means that you have to use a secured version of a form which worked.

However, There is still one problem and that is the fact that even though the form is embedded it is still technically standing by itself. Thus, the data sent and received won't be seen unless you log into your account currently. It would still require a setup of some sort including the ability to read our form data.

On another good note though, I did manage to get ahold of Quote Roller's API so I've added that information to this thread for our developers to look into more. If we are able to figure out something then we will update you here about it.

Lastly, I did check out the Zapier Integration which set up properly, but the responses I was sending through it didn't seem to go past that so I don't think that is going to work as good. Though you may still try it on your end if you wish.

I'm sorry, but the feature you request cannot be implemented. I've searched their documentation but haven't found any option to pass form contents to mail. You should rather ask Quote Roller team to add such possibility, it's up to them.
