    Hi there!

I see that there was already a ticket for my question.  It was dated October 2013.  Has there been any progress since?

    Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,

You can actually delete the field tag on the email notification if you want the field data not to appear on email. Is this your request all about?

    Example:

Or do you mean hide empty fields on email? This is still possible, check this visual guide:

Let us know if I have missed something. Thanks!

    Thank you!

Am I correct in stating this...

If we delete the item from the table then we unlock the table and all data is exposed.  Even if the user did not complete some of those sections.

Or, we could just leave the hidden field in the email notification in order to allow only the completed fields to be sent on the email notification.

    Thanks!

To clarify it more it says what it does in the Empty Field details as my colleague pointed out in the second screenshot. If " Enabled " it would only hide empty fields if the field is ignored by the user as in not filled in or for some other reason such as a condition hiding where the field would not be seen. Whereas if it is filled in then it will show answers depending on the answers which are pertaining to a certain field if any.

Now if you delete these rows or fields out of your Email Notification Template (Table) then regardless of whether they are filled in or not on your form you would not be able to see them. Should the hide empty field be disabled then it would not show in your notification at that point, but you could view it from your jotform account instead if you wanted to. I hope this helps to explain it more indepth.
