    Hello Khizar_khizar,

Thank you for contacting Jotform Support. Yes, we have options to sign documents without signing in. Please can you give more details regarding that document; is it a PDF document or it is a document sent trough Autoresponder?

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Hello Durand_C,

Thank you for your positive response. It is basically a PDF document that we are uploading on Jotform and want to collect approval signatures on it. But when it is routed to an approver, it is asking the approver to either sign in or sign up to jotform. So we were looking for a workaround to get approver signatures without them signing in or signing up with Jotform.

Looking forward to your quick assistance in this matter.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello Khizar,

Thank you for following up. Please note that by default, it does not require logging into Joform to approve the approval process and it can be changed to unrequire to log in however currently, the 'Require login for approver' feature is temporarily disabled which is why you will not be able to see that option right now. The approver would need to log in to their Jotform account and complete the approval process in the meantime.

We already forwarded this to our back-end team and we have further information, you will be notified right away.

We have a beta program currently in testing using which you can Create Signable Documents. Here's a demo of the E-contract please check it and let us know if it is what you are looking for.

Please confirm if this workaround fits your need, so I can enable you for the beta program.

We're awaiting your reply and looking forward to assisting you further.

    Hello Afzal,

Thank you for your quick and positive response.

I believe that the E-Contract feature would probably work for us.

Can we book a demo meeting to learn the details of this feature before getting on the beta program?

Looking forward to your positive response.

    Thanks in Advance.

Thank you for following up, Khizar. The product is currently in testing and we don't have any learning resources for this feature however it is easy to use.

I have enabled the feature on your account, and it can be accessed from the dashboard after clicking on the Create Form button.

    Hello Afzal,

I tested the signable documents feature... and I must say that it is one of the remarkable features introduced by jotform team.

I am just looking forward to one more added facility in this regard; which is to Publish the Signable Document on my website through web embedding...

I don't know if that facility is already available or if you people are working for its introduction... However it is, I would love to know more about this.

Looking forward to your quick and positive response!

    Hi Khizar_khizar

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Approve/Deny without Login option for approvers was temporarily disabled so we could perform some security and stability improvements.

The option has now been enabled again. We're sorry if this caused you any difficulties. You can check and find this option in under the Approval Settings-Advanced Tab.

    Hello Andrew,

The Required to Login option on your workflow cannot be disabled for the 'Approve & Sign' Element because it can only be disabled when using the regular 'Approve' element. Because the signing action must take place in Inbox, the 'Require login' option for the 'Approve & Sign' Element was removed from the feature

I've requested that our backend team add the ability to disable the requirement to log in for the 'Approve & Sign' element. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide an ETA for when this feature will be implemented. Rest assured that we will notify you via this thread if there is any news from our team.

Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.

    Hi Khizar,

Thanks for using Jotform. We have great news for you. We’ve recently launched Jotform Sign, a powerful e-signature product that allows anyone to collect legally binding, E-Sign- and UETA-compliant signatures. Jotform Sign’s easy-to-use user interface and automated workflows differentiate it from other e-signature tools.

We’ve created a short guide that explains the main aspects of Jotform Sign.

    1. Creating a Signable Document

    • Go to your My Documents page and click on Create Sign Document.
    • Next, you can upload your own document, or you can use the Demo Document to test it out.
    • Then, you can add more documents, or you can continue by clicking on the Create Signable Document button.
    • You’ll be redirected to the Jotform Sign Builder page.

Please note that, after creating your document, you can let the system detect fillable fields automatically by clicking on the Detect Fields button, or you can manually add fields from the menu on the left after dismissing the popup message.

    2. Adding Fields Manually

    • In the Jotform Sign Builder, click on the Add Fields + button on the left side of the screen.
    • All you need to do is drag and drop elements from the menu that opens on the left into your document. Although there’s no limit to the number of elements you can add, having too many fields might negatively affect the performance of your document.

    3. Editing Fields

    • In the Jotform Sign Builder, select the related field and click on the gear icon below the field.
    • In the menu that comes up, you can make changes to the field. For example, you can change the Field Name, and you can set options based on the element you’re using.

    4. Assigning Fields

    • You can easily assign, edit, add, and delete roles just by clicking on the Assign Field To button.
    • After clicking on it, a window will open. When it does, you can make your changes.

    5. Changing the Document Title

    • In the Jotform Sign Builder, click on Settings in the green navigation bar at the top of the page.
    • Under the General Settings tab, you can edit the document’s title in the Document Title text area.

    • Then, click on Send To Sign.
