Matrix field not usable iin calculation

I have created a matrix to allow the input of multiple monetary amounts. I would like to add a field which shows the sum of the fields in the matrix. When I try to utilize the calculation wizard, the fields I need to total are not showing up in the wizard. 

A matrix control cannot be used in calculation due to its nature. You may replace them with regular text box fields instead.
