Hello JohnReaves,
This is a very old thread. Please be noted that "Calculate Field" option has been removed and we now have added "Form Calculation" widget. You can add this widget in your from to perform calculations.
You can also use the calculation feature with condition logic as well. The following guide should help you : http://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition
And I've tried the Form Calculation widget and haven't gotten that to work yet.
Please explain a bit more in details on what calculation you want to perform and we will surely help you. I did check few of your last edited forms but could not find that you have added any "Form Calculation" widget yet.
We will wait for your response.
Thank you!

I finally got it to work with the form calculation widget by pasting in the field name in brackets. Choosing the field using the "Add Field" button didn't seem to work.
Also, I can't figure out how to edit the calculation on the calculation widget ... I can only see the calculation if I erase and choose the widget again?

Hello JohnReaves,
That is strange. "Add field" button will display you the list of form fields you have in your form.
I did check your form and I am unable to replicate the issue you are having. Please check the screenshot below on the "Add fields" displaying the form fields and also how to edit the calculation formula :
If the "Add fields" still does not work for you, I suspect it could be a browser related issue. I will suggest you to clear your browser cache and see if that solves your problem. The following guide should help you in clearing browser cache: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
Do get back to us if the issue persists.
Thank you!
