    Sales Order

    Asked by goalclicks on August 20, 2011 at 12:16 PM

    Is it possible to have my admin complete the sales order form, have it emailed (maybe a link) to the client. The client reviews all the info then completes the order?

    Can I then send an autoresponder after the client confirms the order?

    I think I have found my answer, seems I should allow for {editlink} in the body of the email. I'm still a bit confussed on two issues;

    Can I mask the actual link?

    If my salesperson completes all of the form I still desire the client to receive a confirmation email, go to the form and perform a final submission. Is this possible?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Yes, you can mask the actual link. Simply edit the email alert content using HTML and the link for the code should be <a target="_blank" href="{edit_link}">link here</a> or use the Insert/edit link tool in the WYSIWYG editor and enter {edit_link} as your Link URL.

    Please let us know if this is not what you're looking for.

    Thanks,

    Liyam

    Thanks for the response - Part B of my prior question;

    (1) Have salesperson complete form

    (2) Have form automatically sent to client for review and client submittal

    (3) Client accepts and approves (submits order)

    (4) Receive confirmation form has been submitted

    (5) Client receives a thank you email
