e.g. Conditions Wizard input,
If [Text Box D] field [Contains] hummus
[textBox]
Output To Field [Text Box E]
yields rule
IF Text Box D Contains "hummus"
Insert [(5)] into Text Box E
which causes a "0" to appear in Text Box E when "hummus" appears in Text Box D.
Is there a way to have the word "hummus" appear instead of the value "0" (which maybe is what JotForm considers to be the calculated value of "hummus")?

Hello tmartini,
Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement. You need to click on the "Advanced Options" of your condition wizard and ensure that the check box "Insert field as text instead of numeric." Only then you should click on the "Add Field" in the wizard. Please check the screenshot below:

Thank you very much, this was exactly what I wanted!
It also answers another question I had in my mind. I had thought that "Advanced Options" was somehow a label for the big area above it, which didn't really make sense. Because I thought it was a label, I never went to mouse over it and discover it was clickable. Maybe if it said "Show Advanced Options" (as a counterpart to "Hide (Advanced) Options"), I'd have clued in.
Thanks again for a swift resolution of my issue!
