Jot form and custom php coding

Asked by Shaun  on July 07, 2014 at 05:05 AM

Does Jotform work with custom php coding?

My developer is telling me it does not work and wants to use another application.

Is there a plug In needed for this?

    Regards Shaun

    Hi Shaun,

PHP custom coding should work with JotForm. In fact, some codes of the form builder relies heavily on PHP also.

If you can share to us what exactly were the details you wanted to customize using PHP, we will be be able to provide you with more appropriate suggestions.

I also highly recommend registering for a JotForm account using your email account. You can use this shortcut URL to register  http://www.jotform.com/signup

I am trying to use custom PHP on my form to make a temporary upload function for a text document (then a word count would be performed). I have it working in test enviroment, however, I use a site builder so I cannot integrate PHP directly on my website, im trying to figure out if this PHP can be implemented through jotform.

Thank you if you have any suggestions
