Google Spreadsheet Integration - Not transferring all submissions

I've had this problem come up maybe 4 or 5 times in over half a year or so of use and around 100 total submissions. It may be two different problems, or perhaps they're just related.

In a couple of cases, Jotform records a blank response for a field. Other fields of the same type are recorded fine. (it's a blank response in jotform's inbox)

In the most recent case, this time Jotform (inbox) recorded all the data, but the google spreadsheet showed blank responses. I also had a hidden field which recorded properly in the google spreadsheet.

    Here's how it played out:

Response 1: All fields recorded in Jotform + Google spreadsheet

Response 2-5: First 3 fields are all blank in spreadsheet. hidden field recorded in spreadsheet. all fields recorded in jotform.

    >I investigate the form, retype a question, save, resubmit a response-

Response 6: Same result; First 3 fields are all blank in spreadsheet. hidden field recorded in spreadsheet. all fields recorded in jotform.

    >On the form, I retype a word in one question, wait for it to auto save, resubmit a response-

Response 7: Everything recorded fine in google spreadsheet. In fact, now all previous responses are displaying correctly.

I cannot seem to replicate this problem, so any troubleshooting help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hello fwh,

I did clone your form and integrated it with my google spreadsheet. I am able to replicate the issue you are having.

The first time we integrate your form with google spreadsheet and then send a test submission, the data does not gets saved in the spreadsheet. When we go back and remove the "&" symbol you have in your field and then send a test submission, the data gets saved to the spreadsheet. It also saves the previous submissions as well. Once the data starts getting saved in the google spreadsheet and then we change the question label again add "&", it continues to save the submission data.

I am reporting this to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from our back end team.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

We have fixed the issue related to ampersand character in google spreadsheets headers. Could you please confirm that it is completely fixed?

    Kind regards
