Are There Any Plans to Implement a Math CAPTCHA Feature in JotForm?

Doo you guys have any plans to implement a Math Captcha option?  Math Captcha is so much easier on the user and is just as effective in stopping spam.  Not to mention it takes up less space on the form.

Thanks for suggesting this, onevoice. It has actually been suggested at least once before. How do I know this? Well, it was I who suggested it (in this thread)!

As to if or when it will be implemented, I cannot presently provide a definitive answer on that, as our developers are currently working on several features.

    Nevertheless, thanks again.

Hello!  It's been about a year and a half since I suggested Math Captcha.  Was wondering if there are any plans in the works to implement this handy feature.  Thanks!

No, there are no plans to include it at this time. But it is in our feature requests list.

Wondering if you guys ever found a solution to implement match based captcha for the forms.  Thanks!

    Hello fcstl,

The feature request to add Math Captcha is already sent to our back end team. Unfortunately we have not received any update from them yet.

We will get back to you whenever this feature gets implemented.

    Thank you!

Just posted this regarding math captcha:

I cannot implement a user-friendly spam protected contact form with Jotform via the embed option ... the only thing that one can use with client websites.

    Please take a look

    Thanks Mark

    Hi Mark!

Well, while we currently have no math CAPTCHA built into our product, it is on our "Nice to Do" list. Also, you may find the (rather clever) workarounds in this other thread to be useful. Nevertheless, thanks for upvoting the feature request and for the informative links. (I'm actually subscribed to Chris Pirillo's YouTube Channel because I find his content to be worthwhile.)

Incidentally, as an alternative to math CAPTCHA, we have a couple of widgets which [you] may want to give a try.

We'll be sure to update you when if and when Math CAPTCHA gets implemented.

    Hi Abajan,

Long time no hear. Glad to see you are around.

Ok, my first impressions of the drawing captcha widget are good.

In this day and age with touchscreen phones and Ipads ... it is worth a shot.

Also, some people are useless with maths ... they can't be that bad can they ;-?

This thread proves the requirement for a maths captcha widget:

You need a PhD in form development to implement this with the + - thing going on.

Math Captcha ... the simplest of Wordpress themes have it.

Come on ... its a good idea isn't it?

    Regards Mark

    Hello Mark,

I completely agree with you but unfortunately we cannot give you an ETA on this. We have already sent the feature request to our backend team but decision on if it will get implemented depends upon the number of users requesting a similar feature. If multiple users are requesting the same or similar feature, the priority of the feature request will change.

We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from our backend team.

    Thank you!
