Weekly Appointment Planner Widget - Extending Width

When I attempt to extend the width (currently set at 300) of the Weekly Appointment Planner widget, it becomes so compact it's unreadable. The first example is the default of 300 that I would like to extend. The second example is when I attempt to extend it to 400.
