    All my users are finding that if they flag items, then go away and come back, the flags are gone. Shouldn't they be persistent?

    I was able to find and re-create the problem with a lot of testing. The problem happens if you give someone only "View Submission" permissions. This means that the user does not have permissions to edit something. Changing the flag status is also editing a submission, so it is not possible. 

    The problem is that flag is clickable. So, the user might think they can change the flag but their action is not saved. That's a bug and I opened a ticket to get it fixed. 

    But that bug fix will not make it possible for your users to edit the flag. If you need to allow users to edit the submissions then you will need to give users Edit permissions. You can do that from the Sub-Users page in the Account Settings section.

    This has now been fixed so that only users with edit permissions can change the flag status of a submission

    Sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm finding the same.  The flag or the little mail icon to the left are lost every time I come out of that screen and go back again.  I'm the only user at this stage too so I have full edit permissions.
