How to have an editable List so it able to use datalist and not select element

    I need an editable List so I want to use datalist and not select element. But I also want to provide a default value (value="MyValue" in the input tag), that's possible with select, but with datalist it displays the value, but the dropdown list has also only this single value. How can I set a default value with datalist?

    Thank you for contacting Jotform Support. If you would like to use HTML5 You must be referring to using the full source code of the form. Where You can download and use the HTML and CSS source codes of the form.

    However, since the support team members are not qualified developers, I recommend you to please have a look at our Dynamic Dropdowns widget which allows you to create a datalist for your site without using HTML5.
