Google spread sheet updates when form is edited?

What happens to a google sheets integration if a question is added, edited on the form?  does the sheet change to reflect the changes?

Yes the sheet updates and add this new question. But the previous submissions will have no data associated with that new field. If you delete the field in the form, it will still remain in the spreadsheet.
