Google Drive Custom Folder shows a blank response due to a conditional checkbox

    The cause of the problem is not {field1} being empty (see previous example). The problem in fact appears to be caused by a checkbox.

    Basically, there is a single checkbox on my form. When the box is checked, I get the blank filename problem I described. When the box is unchecked, everything works fine. This is strange, because the checkbox itself is not included in the custom filename.

    The reason I made the mistake of thinking it was the blank field that was the problem, is because the checkbox is set up with a condition to clear the field when it is checked. However, when I disable all the conditional rules on the form, I still get the problem that when the checkbox is checked, the integration does doesn't work. Very strange.

    UPDATE: I tried removing the checkbox from the form - submission works fine. Then I added a new single checkbox to the form and the problem came back as before.

    I looked through your responses in your related thread.  But I am not seeing any mention of the form you are having this problem on and I am thinking that it may be a bug due to the conditional logic setup you have. You have a couple of forms on your account so would you mind providing us with a link to the form you are still having this issue on? This way we can investigate it better.

    Hi Kade,

    I have made a very simple example form here to demonstrate the problem: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/42107021969351?

    I have set it up with Google Drive integration with the following custom folder name:

    {textField} - {time}

    When I submit the form without the checkbox checked, this works fine. When the checkbox is checked, I find that the filename in google drive is blank. This form has no conditional rules etc.

    Hello,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for the inconvenience. It appears that indeed when a user integrates with Google Drive and selects a Custom Folder name, that folder name does not work when there's a check box field and the checkbox field is Checked.

    I've escalated this to development to look into it further and this ticket will be updated when it's resolved.
