Autoresponder & Notification email: Print Dropdown and Multiple choice values as plain text

In my auto email, the fields that were multiple choice/checkbox/dropdown are showing as colored boxes with black text. Is there a way to make them just plain text like the rest of the text in the email?

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it.
