ie we ask how many pets they have. (any whole number)
The answer to that depends on how many times we ask a bunch of questions relating to the pet ie
Pet One
Pet Name
Pet Gender
Pet Type (Cat/ Dog)
Pet Vet (taken from earlier response of vets they use- how to we do that?)
plus more questions...
Then repeat the above questions for Pet Two.... etc...
As we repeat the questions we want to ask.....
<Insert Pet Name> Gender?
<Insert Pet Name> Type?
<Insert Pet Name > Vet?

Hello marksolutionsnz,
Currently, the feature you are talking about is not available in JotForm. I have forwarded your request to the dev team for consideration, but we cannot give a date for when it can be done. In the meantime, there is a method where you can partially apply the process you mentioned. Let me show you how,
- Add a dropdown field and set options for how many pets you want to collect information of.
- Add the fields about what information you want to collect and multiply as many times as you set in the dropdown list earlier.
- After that click on the Settings tab, then click on Conditions and select Show/Hide Field as shown in the picture.
- Then set the fields to be shown in case 1 pet is selected as shown in the picture.
- Then add a new condition as I explained in the 3rd clause and set the areas to be shown if 2 pets are selected as in the picture. The areas you choose should be selected cumulatively according to the number of pets.
- Repeat the 3rd and 4th steps for each pet count and be careful to cumulatively select the fields of pets info fields.
If you have further questions, let us know.
