How can I make the feedback button open a pop up instead of a lightbox?

    When I am scrolled up to the top of the page and click the feedback button, the lightbox loads, but falls under the Java menu on my website www.englishwithpippa.com, thus rendering some of it unreadable.

    Is there any way to have the feedback button ceate a pop up instead. Or are there other alternatives?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    The feedback button is hardcoded in a javascript file called by the feedback embed codes. Therefore, it is not possible to make it open a pop-up instead of the usual lightbox.

    Here'a a solution for the floating menu:

    If you have access to your site's template.css file, find this code block

    #top {
        backgroundurl("../images/hornav.png") no-repeat scroll 50% 0 transparent;
        border0 none;
        floatleft;
        height60px;
        margin-bottom0;
        padding0;
        positionrelative;
        width958px;
        z-index999999;
    }

    Change z-index:999999 to z-index:0 then save the css file.

    Hope this helps.

    It can be done, here is my actual sample

    <a target="_blank" href="javascript:void( window.open('http://form.jotform.me/form/41384947442461', 'blank','scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no,width=700,height=500'))" style="padding: 7px 15px; position: fixed; top: 0px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 15px; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); z-index: 999; cursor: pointer; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; right: 35px; text-shadow: none; box-shadow: 0px 0px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3); border-radius: 0px 0px 5px 5px; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% rgb(255, 122, 14);">Streamyx &amp; Unifi Registration</a>

    Hi tmnetic,

    Thank you so much for sharing your code. This would be very useful to anyone who wants to have a pop up window for their form instead of a lightbox. It was a very nice way of utilizing the window.open functionality.
