Stripe Integration: account disconnected via Stripe Connect option when updating the integration

Asked by motb276 on August 22, 2014 at 10:19 PM

From time to time I notice that after I have already connected Stripe to a form.......and then go back to check or update something............I find myself having to reconnect stripe again............this tells me that if this is happening without me knowing it............then I could be missing out on collecting payments...........

    not sure what is happening

    Hi,

It happens to this form: http://www.jotform.us/form/40390874062151, right? It checked it and it's currently not connected to Stripe.

When was the last time this form was connected to Stripe Connect option and when did you update it and notice that it was disconnected? We need to know because as far as I know, this issue is already fixed.

Also, did you try using Stripe Keys?

    Thank you!

The last time the form was connected to stripe was just before I sent a support ticket...........I guess it disconnected that quickly...Are you saying I need to use the keys to avoid this???

I also just checked another form and it too was not connected when I know I connected it when I created it................

I also checked another and it WAS connected

    @motb276

Our sincere apologies. There was an issue with stripe integration recently and it has already been patched. If you kept on receiving errors after submitting your form with Stripe payment, please re-connect your form to Stripe on the form builder. That should resolve the problem.

You can also enter your Stripe API Keys manually instead of using the Stripe Connect button.

    ----

Regarding on the stripe connect button issue which does not stay connected when you reload the form, I have forwarded it to our developers for further investigation.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Have you provided the proper Stripe API keys and credentials in the integration?

When I checked the form http://www.jotform.us/form/40390874062151 Stripe integration it prompts me with a message that there is no credentials provided.

After you have provided the correct API keys and credentials and connected to Stripe, you can also test submit your form using a valid CC account. This way you will be able to find out if the Stripe is working.

We will wait for your update.

    Thanks.

I did try it using a valid card and so far, I think it works. I didn't verify the payment though :) and eventually, the payment was being declined.

    Thank you!
