I havelooked through the forums but can't quite find what I want.
We run a lot of races and are trying to streamline the process by using JotForm.
Obviously we ask for DoB. From this I want to create logic gates so that later fields are determined by an age range based on the athletes age on the date of the last race of the season.
I can do this by using show/hide if a DoB falls before/after, or combination of that by wondered if there is a neater, slicker way to do this, rather than having a huge list of fields to show/hide. Just seems clumsy and inelegant! Thinking of logic gates, if ... then ...

You can mimic if-else or if-then by adding conditional logic for the specific date.Unfortunately, you can only do it like this. The output should still be the same.
If you need to group fields, you can show these fields by a single logic. Please follow this guide:http://www.jotform.com/help/196-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once.

Thanks. I'm quite surprised by the lack of integration with DoB offered. I see huge numbers of queries about it, and considering the extent of your offering I find it surprising that you haven't conquered the dreaded DoB issues :-)

I feel that I have misunderstood your original question. Can you please confirm if
a. You are looking NOT to use/add additional set of SHOW/HIDE condition for the other form fields or
b. You are looking to update a field based on a date selection or age result
For showing multiple fields, we can also use our form collapse tool, instructions here:http://www.jotform.com/help/297-Show-or-Hide-multiple-fields-at-once-using-form-collapse-tool.
For updating field value (textbox), you can use our calculation:http://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition
