Simple addition Calculation will NOT calculate

I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to calculate fields. Simple field xyz + field abc + field 345 + field 443.

I have tried the fields with brackets, with { }, with just the field and no brackets. No matter what it will not calculate.

I think I am missing something very very simple.

    Can you advise?

And you have my permission to go in and modify my form, instead of cloning as the form is supposed to be already live (I've disabled it temporarily until I can figure this out).

    I appreciate help soonest!!!!

    thank you!!

I have also tried without the brackets.

    Still not working.

Please someone help. :( As soon as this is figured out, I can make my form live again.

    Hi Kiran.

I really need to get this sorted.

I have tried using the conditions wizard to create an if 'student is entering pre k then +62 in the subtotal category.

I have 6 grades (pre-k, k, 1,2,3,4) and the option to add 4 children so this is 24 conditions minimum, i have added them all to populate the 'subtotal' field. but none calculating correctly.

    What is going wrong?

My form is disabled and I need desperately to get it enabled again soonest! please please help!

I have another question as well,

why will the show/hide field work with a required field?

I want if someone has 3 children, then 3 child registrations show up, and certain fields in all 3 child registrations are required. I can't figure out how to make that work.

Thank you for the information. I see the conditions set and found a few are working but not calculation. I'm trying to find out where exactly the issue is. Please allow me some more time to work on this. I'll get back to you as soon as I found the solution for you.Thank you for your patience.

The other question is moved to a new threadsince we keep one issue per thread to avoid confusions.

Thank you for being patient. I think I figured it out. The subtotal value added byconditions is overwritten by the value from checkboxes for due amount selected. I've tried creating a demo to understand this better. Please see the demo form here.

So, I've removed all the conditions that add numbers toSubtotal. Also, as I clone your form I see that there are many subtotal fields reflecting in payment integration.

So, I removed the calculation widget and added it again with necessary field calculations and then to Payment Integration. This seems to be working as required.

Please see the working form and let me know if this is as per your requirement.

    THIS is GREAT!!!

I'm sighing a bit of relief now!

Question: The form link has already gone out to 500 people via email, how do I get the form you just created to work with my original Jotform url? which is my original form number (42086046265151)?

I don't want anyone to click on the link they have previously received, and it does not work. If I just clone and yours, it won't have the same url/form number.

Can you help me know how to make your working form operate under the original form number?

    THANK YOU AGAIN

    :)

Yes. You are right. Cloning the form shall change the form URL. It is required to make necessary changes on the same form to have the original form number. I see that you have modified the conditions and added with new subtotal calculation.

I've added other required conditions for Student 3 and 4 on your form along with corrections in subtotal field. I couldn't test theform direct from your account since we needtoenable the form. However, I cloned the form again to my account and tested it. This one seems to be working fine. Please verify and let us know if you need further help. We are happy to help.

    Thank you!!
