is it possible to link a form with a csv file that contains pre-population data? So have a drop down on the form that correlates to a row in the csv and when selected the relevant data is populated from the cvs into the form?
for example, have a drop down that is
then have fields for a postal address
When the use select a house, this links with the csv and populates the address fields with the corresponding data in he csv.
i have MANY rows of data so I couldn't use the manual feature of having an IF statement for every selection option.

Unfortunately it is not possible to populate your form fields dynamically from any external data source. In another words, your form cannot read data from any external source.
The only possibility available for your requirement is to add conditions to show hide form fields for every drop down. You can also update a form field value based on any condition. The following guide should help you: http://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition
Hope this helps.
