Incomplete PaymentsAsked by richter18 on September 09, 2014 at 03:17 PM
Thank you for your help, i found the incomplete payment list but as i am reading this its saying just from me completing the payment that doesn't necessarily mean that the payment will go through . when will we know when the payment is through. what is the next step to getting the payment to go into the paypal account?
This is a re-post of a comment on Paypal Incomplete Payments FAQ
Incomplete payments means that the customer might have aborted the payment process or there was something wrong with her/his credit card details and Paypal failed to process it successfully.
You should check if your Paypal account was able to accept and process the payments of that transactions. If Paypal did accept and completed the processing of payment of your customer, you can complete the pending submission. Otherwise, you may need to discard these pending submissions. If you complete the submission, this does not charge the user who submitted the form, it only gets considered as one payment submission. Unfortunately there may not be any payment information available if the users did not enter any.
Also, I would check your forms PayPal setup to make sure that your correct account information is entered:
