Dynamic Dropdown Widget dropdown does not show up in IE

I tried the idea of using two dynamic dropdowns ... to half the size of the list. Makes sense.

But oh dear ... my client has Internet Explorer ... and it doesn't work on that browser ... even with half the list

Try this in Internet explorer: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42525134781958

That's half the list length. Doesn't even show the dropdown does it?

I addressed this questions in the previous thread and I was able to replicate the issue of the drop down not showing up at all in IE.  Added this issue to be looked at by our team as well.

    Any movement on this?

Are other users perhaps trying it out ... unknowingly releasing their jotform into the wild not knowing that the major browser won't render it at all.

    Thanks Mark

No updates yet but I can see that this ticket is already assigned. I'm just not sure when this will get fixed. The assigned dev will update you here once this is fixed.

I am trying to use Dynamic Dropdown Widget and running into the same issue.  simply not showing up in IE.

This is a really important feature to me.  Is there something I am doing wrong?

To expand on my issue.  It looks like this error is happening when the widget is hidden using conditions and then revealed.

@marcomm, your issue will be addressed on this thread.

There is no IE compatability - I've just tested this in my IE browser: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42525134781958

This 'creating a new thread thing' for the same topic is ridiculous and benefits no one.
It means that I'm isolated from the issue now and will not know about a resolution.

The issue is identical. If you have a counter argument to this I suggest you revisit it from a customer perspective ....

    ... I'll be non-the-wiser to the solution

.... @marcomm loses all the historical audit and wisdom to wheel-spin through.

retain the inegrity of the problem in the same thread so we can all have an easy time.

    Jeeez ;-/

    Hello Mark,

    About reporting Separate Issues

We do consolidate related issues on our end - similar issues are reproduced and added to the same improvement process that fixes the bug/malfunction (should the similarity determine that they can be resolved in the same improvement process).

Reporting issues separately helps us determine severity of an issue - so its imperative that each issue is treated separately - regardless of similarity.

Also - From a quality point of view - similarity does not always mean the causation and environmental factors are the same - so bundling issues due to apparent similarity would be poor practice - and would infer that we do not take your report seriously.

    About IE compatibility

I admit that we've not been vigilant in the past to test for browser compatibility with widgets- and while we find a lot of difficulty meeting old browser constraints with each new update (finding alternative script functions that work with old IE browsers) - No updates are released without successful testing on all browsers and on all OS environments (IE 8 upwards, Safari 6 Upwards, Current stable Chrome and Firefox Releases).

I apologize that our last update did not resolve the  IE issue - we will update you when the issue is conclusively fixed.

Your honest feedback is always appreciated Mark.
