My JotForm will be disabled due to test submissions. Can you reset my submissions count?

    Good Morning,
I am approaching another issues with the jot form. Due to the many test
form submissions I have made I am reaching my limit of 10 per month very
quickly and will have my account disabled soon. Is there a way to address
this due to test form submitted and not actual request from our
customers??? Please advise and do not delete my account?
Also -- do you have this issue often when setting up a new account? If so
the first month should be allowed a few more... Just a thought.
    Thanks,
    Abby

    Hi,

When users are genuinely testing their JotForms we are always happy to reset limits.  It appears you are in fact doing a bit of testing so I went ahead and and set all your limits back to 0.  Let us know if you have any further questions or need any help setting anything up and we will be happy to assist you.

Perfect! thanks so much. We have it set up working properly now, so that will be fine.

Free account is allowed 10 submissions per month, correct?

For payment and SSL submissions, yes, "Free" accounts are limited to 10 per month.  Regular submissions however, free accounts are allowed 100.

I don't follow, how many do I get?

You get 100 regular submissions which are non-payment/SSL based submissions.  For payment or SSL submissions, you only get 10.

Each submission goes to two separate email accounts, is that increasing the amount?

Only the completion of the submission counts towards the total.  You can have several email notifications sent with each submission and it will only count for 1.

Ok, so I am confused as to why I received this email today... I did not know I was using SSL submissions.. what is the difference?

    Dear TechcraneMarketing,

We would like to inform you that your JotForm account has almost reached 10 SSL submissions per month this month. Free accounts are limited to 10 SSL submissions per month. Your forms will be automatically disabled once you reach your allocated quota.

Upgrade your account today to continue using JotForm without any interruption; receive submissions, collect payments from your users and have more upload space. Upgrading is quick and easy:

Nevermind, I understand now. So if I do not have payments or private information, will having the captcha protect from security or robots finding this form?

Correct, if you are not collecting payments or information such as credit card information and social security numbers, it is not necessary to use SSL.  A captcha will indeed help to prevent spam submissions of your form.  Just in case you would like a bit more information about SSL submissions, here is our guide:

I received a submission about 7 hours ago, was this regular or SSL?

    Hi,

It seems that you did not have any SSL submissions.

You will get SSL submissions only if you embed/use your form by providing your users with a secured form. If you are not using secure form option then all the submissions are regular ones.

My JotForm will be disabled due to test submissions Screenshot 20

On the image above you can see an example of secure form. Only once the box at the top is marked will your form have SSL submissions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Greetings!

My form has been disable due to SSL Limit.

I didn't knew about this issue and I was testing my account and experimenting with different widgets and different options.

I came to know about SSL issue yesterday and that there is a monthly limit when I received an email from jotform informing me that I have reached SSL Limit and soon my account will be disabled.

After that I disabled SSL from my form as I wasn't using any payment method or electronic transaction and thought it might work fine but even then my form is disabled now.

I would be glad if you can help me with this issue.

Also do tell me If my submission are now SSL free.

I have worked very hard to prepare this form and I am looking forward for a positive & timely response from you.

    Thanks & Best Regards,

    Hi,

Normally we request you create a new thread for new questions, however since you issue is rather quick I will just go ahead and post here.

I checked your account and it does indeed appear that your submissions were test submissions, so I went ahead and reset your limits.  Keep in mind we can only do this once per account, should you go over your limits again, you will need to upgrade in order to keep your forms active.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please create a new thread and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for you quick and positive response.

As my issue was related to the question asked earlier in this thread I thought it would be fine to post my query here but I will surely create a new thread next time I need any support.

Do tell me If my current submissions are SSL disabled so I won't have to face this issue later.

I am collecting the submissions from the form embedded in my website:

    www.theimperialthreads.com/shop_now.html

& What If I cross 100 (SSL Disabled/ Regular) submissions per month? Will I be able to collect submissions the next month?

    Thanks & Best Regards,

We would like to inform you that we implemented a system that will not count test submissions made during the form building process.

The system detects the device that is editing the form and it doesn't count submissions made from that device towards the submissions limit of your Account.

For any questions or inquiries, please contact us at our Support Forum.

    Thank you!
