How to limit characters on the phone number field

The phone number field let's me type in more than 3 digits in the area code field.  Is there a way to limit that area code to only 3 digits?

Hi Alissa,

That's possible when you enable Input Mask. It's on the Phone Number field properties. Check the following image.
