I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
I did test the JotForm android mobile app on my device and it seems to be working fine. I was able to sign in to my account without any problem.
I would suggest you to uninstall the JotForm mobile app and install it again to your android mobile device.
Do get back to us if the issue persists.
- email@example.comAnswered on September 24, 2014 at 07:31 AMI already installed uninstalled the app for the fifth time with the same
results. I can log in and out from the web app from various platforms and
browsers including Ubuntu Linux using firefox browser but NO luck with the
Android App. Also I verify the forums in the Play Store and there are
literally dozens of users reporting the same issue since 2013. Please
provide a more sounding advice.

As mentioned earlier, I am able to sign in successfully in JotForm Android app without any issue.
Let me report it to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

I was expecting a more customer service oriented response . Your reply don't provide any useful information that helps to troubleshoot the issue. I do not know your android version nor your smartphone model and even the encoding, character set used in an App can affect a login form.
There are several users reporting this with no useful answer from your end.

I CAN reproduce the issue from an iPad mini. (iOS)

I think the following information could be useful for you and your team;
The account I'm using is an OpenID account. I use a Google Apps account to login. I test both apps (iOS and Android) with an account that is NOT connected to Google Apps and it works as intended. I reproduce this with another account that is NOT connected to Google Apps and it also works as intended. So, if I may ask you... Is your account coonected to Google Apps? If your anwser is no maybe there lies a clue to this issue.

If I'm not mistaken when you say OpenID this username and password you are using is the same for all accounts that they offer like google, yahoo etc.? Here's how I've tested this. I downloaded the app from PlayStore and installed it > Opened jotform app > Logged in using Jotform's username and password. This works for me without using OpenID.
When you say you are using Google Apps to login, are you referring to the OpenID in google Apps? You can download my sample recording so you can check https://shots.jotform.com/jed/img/general/2014-09-24-23_34_13.mp4.

When you say an account connected to Google Apps, can you explain further what this means? I have different accounts, including one that I use to log in to download apps in play store but all seem to log in properly to JotForm Android App. It would be great if you can give us a walk-through so we can replicate the problem and finally resolve this issue.
Looking forward to your response.
