I understand you're having a mobile upload issue with the files being renamed as "Image.jpg".
I was able to replicate this issue on my iPhone.
I found that it shows nothing for just a basic file upload. However, for multiple uploads I see that it does get renamed as just "Image.jpg"
The screenshot used below [ https://shots.jotform.com/kade/Screenshots/IMG_2231.PNG ] shows an example of how the images should have been appended since it was uploaded here directly from my iPhone with the actual image name as "IMG_2231".
When you look at this in your submission viewer it's different but still basically the unwanted "Image.jpg" naming from the two images I used in my test attachment and upload.

(Not sure the answer I just wrote went through...testing to see if this posts)

Ok....nope no post. What I wrote was, that I don't have any multi upload fields on my forms, just basic image uploads.
If you look at my submissions, you'll see that I named them...phone test, ipad test, pc test, etc and how the image fields responded.
But, yes...that's the problem that's happening. Everything is being named image.jpg when uploaded from iphone/ipad.
I take my data and then use it on my website, so this is causing a major issue for me as you can imagine with the same file name for every image. Even bigger problem is my other form has 20+ images that will all be uploaded from users mobile device. Basic one file upload fields.
Really REALLY hope you can help me get this fixed!!!
Thank you for your help

I see that the issue is already been forwarded to our development team for a solution. There is no update on the issue yet. If there is any progress, you'll be updated through this thread.
By the way, could you let us know if you have updated to iOS 8 and since then you are experiencing this issue?

I believe this is an iphone behaviour and there is nothing we can do about it. iPhone changes the names of the images.

Well, that's not a good solution...lol. Surely we can't just leave it at that?
What other options do you suggest to use? Or how else can you think to resolve the issue?
Past tickets (those in 2013) show the same issue as resolved, so it's been done before, right?
Do you want me to post those thread links here?
Is there a way to rename the file once it's been uploaded perhaps? That would fix my problem..
Please don't just give up on me...y'all are better than that. I've seen your magic. C'mon! :)

When I had first tested it I noticed when different images were selected they would get prefixed. But from what I remember if it's the same image from past related issues then it would likely get overwritten.
In past issues I think there might have been a previous solution that was eventually found which is probably why you had seen those resolved.
Unfortunately though, as mentioned this is indeed an iOS problem usually because of the differences in the Operating Systems as far as I know of.
As an alternative you could try uploading them from your desktop.
I tested a few of our widgets and alternative methods to upload from iphone and it was the same problem so I am sorry about that. If I come across a solution i'll update our developers including you as well.
