Is there a way to limit the number of widgets can be purchased through a form?

For example, I have 50 widgets to sell, so I want to set a limit so that not more than 50 can be purchased through all sales done through a particular form?

I cannot provide a link as I have not created this form yet...

    Hello,

There are a some ways to do this, that will mostly depend on how will you let your customers to purchase the widgets you're selling.

For example, on this link: http://www.jotform.com/help/251-How-to-set-up-minimum-or-maximum-number-of-selection-on-Checkbox-Field there’s a guide to enable minimum and maximum values of selected checkboxes.

You should check out this link: http://www.jotform.com/help/46-Quick-Overview-of-Form-Fields in which you can find useful information about the form fields and what you can do with them. It might help you to decide which way to go.

If you have any questions, please post them here.

    Best Regards.

    Hello-

This can't be accomplished directly with our payment forms, but you may be able to accomplish the same thing as follows.

    - set up the payment widget as you would normally. Ensure that it only allows users to select as many items as you're willing to let any one customer buy.

    - limit the number of times a specific IP address can submit the form.

More information on this, and then links on how to set it up, can be found here:

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks!
